Side-By-Side: Knight of Wands

For Day 13 of Side by Side, I drew the Knight of Wands. On the right, the RWS knight holds a wand astride a rearing horse in the desert. On the left, James C. Beckwourth, mountain man and explorer, efficiently controls his rearing horse in the dry, high desert region of eastern California. He carries a wand, in the form of a riding crop, but he has no need to strike.
